Our Open Source Projects
Cartasia develops and maintains some of Drupal's most popular mapping modules.
Geofield
Geofield is a module for storing geographic data in Drupal 7. It supports all geo-types (points, lines, polygons, multitypes etc.). It can store data using MySQL, MariaDB, and even PostGIS.
drupal.org/project/geofieldOpenLayers
The OpenLayers Module and its submodules bring the OpenLayers JS library into Drupal. They enable users to combine maps from different map providers with data from Views and field input.
drupal.org/project/openlayersGeocoder
Geocoder will geocode just about anything you throw at it including addresses, GPX files, geo-tagged images, and KML files. It is commonly used to automatically geocode addresses into Geofield points for display on OpenLayers maps. It also supports the geolocation, and location modules.
drupal.org/project/geocoderGeoPHP
GeoPHP is a open-source native PHP library for doing geometry operations. It can read and write a wide variety of formats (WKT, WKB, GeoJSON, KML, GPX, GeoRSS). It works with all Simple-Feature geometries (Point, LineString, Polygon, etc.) and can be used to get centroids, bounding-boxes, area, and a wide variety of other useful information.
Technology we love to use
We do open-source. Here's some of our favorite technologies we use to solve problems.
Apache Solr
Do you need an interactive, dynamic, and searchable map that scales to many millions of datapoints? We can do that with Solr.
http://drupal.org/project/geofieldPostGIS
Does your application need to know the total length of one way roads that cross a bycicle path within Vancouver City limits? For complex spatial queries PostGIS is our tool of choice.
